It was my final shift at the museum this evening... Everything was like it always was, until I turned everything off in the office and went down to punch out and turn in my keys/badge... THAT was a thuroughly depressing walk.

Ugh!... I was up until 1am last night trying to get a jump on reorganizing the 3 different crap repositories that had built up over the years. And, like the moron that I am, completely forgot that I'm working tonight at SMM... Damn, I'm tired

ANYWHOO... Back to the actual work that's been done.

We've, yet again, removed a couple of walls at ghOst. Completely knocking down the walls between the pointless "edit suite" that Patrick was condemned to and a portion of a wall where I was - making our production area one big room. It is really nice. Like Stephan said while I was lugging things around last night, "Damn... We shoulda done this from the begining."

It is a sad SMM day.

After much internal struggle for the past week, and deliberation with Ana and my boss... I've decided to put in my 2 weeks notice at the Science Museum of Minnesota.

It was a difficult conclusion to come to after 12-13 years of being around an amazing institution like SMM. But the schedule (due to the terriffic Body Worlds exhibit) was going to be too taxing on me and my family. I do harbor the hopes of coming back again after the summer, if the fates allow... But, for now, it is with an extremely heavy heart that I bid SMM a very fond good-bye.

I'll be back in some capacity... Hell. I'm still married to it, thanks to Ana.
